At HUMC, we believe in the power of community unity. Through our volunteer collaboration program, we also serve as a community center, working hand in hand with Montgomery County to deliver donations such as diapers for babies and seniors, food, and meal deliveries for those with physical limitations. We provide cribs for expectant mothers, offer legal services on immigrant rights and low-cost legal procedures, and, in partnership with nonprofit organizations, host English classes, cooking workshops, piñata and jewelry-making courses, among others depending on the season. We also organize community fairs to strengthen bonds, support those in need, and create spaces of hope, service, and solidarity for all.
